Flag pole installed at senior apartments

Democrat Photo Cassville Senior Citizen's Rental Housing Corporation Board members, Cassville Senior Citizens Rental Housing residents and members of American Legion Post #119 gathered for a flag raising ceremony on Tuesday. Resident Mal Hudson gathered donations from several local businesses, organizations and individuals to fund the purchase of a new flag pole west of the community building located in the center of the senior citizens' apartments. Donors included: American Legion Post #119; Les Jacobs Ford-Mercury; Security Bank of Southwest Missouri; Four Seasons Real Estate; Mike Carr; LeCompte's Lumber Yard; First State Bank; Jim and Janice Fohn; and Keith and Valerie Speer. Hudson's son, Doug, completed the installation and wiring for the new flag pole with the assistance of Keith Speer, Justin Speer and Barry Electric Cooperative. [Order this photo]
