Shell Knob holiday food drive a success

Wednesday, December 28, 2011
National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) members recently hosted a three-week food drive to help replenish the food pantry at Shell Knob United Methodist Church. On Dec. 14, students, along with their advisor, Mrs. Carr, took the donated food items to the church and helped the Alliance of Churches assemble 30 baskets for local families for the holiday. NJHS members who worked with the project are pictured above. In the front row: Maddie Mason. In the second row, from left, are: Zach Denton, R.J. Elliott, Noah Hadlow and Allen Boston. Third row: Kaileigh Gorski and Hope Boston.
