Olive L. "Ollie" Allsbury, 99, of Cassville, a longtime Carterville resident, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at the Christian Health and Rehab of Republic, in Republic.

She was born May 16, 1912, in Brazelton, Kan. She lived in Carterville until 2004 when she moved to Cassville. She was an active member of the Carterville Christian Church, and later attended College Heights Christian Church in Joplin.

She married Robert T. Allsbury July 15, 1933, in Joplin. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2007.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sondra Hamby, of Parkville; a son, Sid Allsbury and wife, Mary, of Cassville; one sister, Hazel Hall, of Ft. Scott, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mason-Woodard Chapel with Chris DeWelt, Randy Allsbury and Troy Powell, ministers, officiating. Burial will be in the Carterville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. Thursday until the service at the Chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mason-Woodard Mortuary of Joplin.
