The Wheaton Historical Society and Wheaton Depot Museum hosted their fourth annual open house on Dec. 10 in conjunction with one of the best attended Wheaton Christmas Parades in recent history. Hot dogs and chili were provided to those in attendance, courtesy of L&S Foods of Wheaton. An estimated 300 guests at the museum were greeted with a warm atmosphere, cookies, hot punch and coffee, provided by the Wheaton Historical Society. Members of the Wheaton Masonic Lodge arranged for Santa Claus to stop by for photos with children in front of the Christmas tree. A total of 107 children registered for the Train Cake, which was baked, decorated and donated by Betty Lamberson.
