Isaac Noel Brock, 93, of Cassville, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. He was born on July 14, 1918, son of Albert Washington and Lula Maude (Jimmerson) Brock. He grew up and received his education in Barry County. He was a carpenter. In 1941, He enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was stationed on the USS Texas serving in WWII. He was honorably discharged in 1945. On Sept. 25, 1951, in Rogers, Ark., he was united in marriage to Mamie Floriene Joel. He was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Cassville.
Survivors include: his wife, Mamie Floriene Brock, of Springfield; two daughters, Alberta Moore, and her husband, Kelly, of Springfield, and Teckla Moore, and her husband, Dennis, of Springfield; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, B.J. Brock, of Tulsa, Okla.; and one sister, Mae Rowen, of Roseburg, Ore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven other siblings.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at the White Funeral Home in Cassville with Pastor Danny Heupel officiating. Burial with Military Honors was at Horner Cemetery, Cassville.
Memorials may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church and entrusted to the White Funeral Home in Cassville.
