Halena "Kaye" (Schnake) Long, 57, of Cassville, passed away on Dec. 16, 2011, in her home.

She was born Jan. 18, 1954, in Verona, the daughter of Lloyd John, Sr., and Opal Faye (Witthaus) Schnake. On May 18, 1971, she was united in marriage to Chuck Long.

Survivors include: her husband; three sons, Dean Long and his fiancÚ, Vicki, Litchfield, Derrik Long and his wife, Karen, and Dustin Long and his wife, Katherine, all of Cassville; nine grandchildren; one brother, John Schnake and his wife, Margie, of Pierce City; four sisters, Dorothy Doennig, Faye Swearengin and her husband, Bill, and Erma Langley, all of Ozark, and Linda Fry and her husband, Jerry, of Washburn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Earl Schnake; and one sister, Jean Evans.

She was of the Christian faith. She attended school at Freistatt and graduated from Monett High School in 1972, and has lived in Barry County for many years. Over the years, Kaye worked at Justin Boot and Wells Hydro.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in Faith Worship Center, Aurora, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Arnold Ray Evans and Robert Long will conduct the services. Burial will be at Orange Cemetery, Aurora.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday) in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
