Charles Douglas "Charlie" Henry, 62, of Marionville, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, in his home.

He was born Jan. 24, 1949, in Washburn, the son of Walter Clyde and Esther "Eldine" (Gifford) Henry, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Harry Henry and Glenn Henry.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Poolaw, of Springdale, Ark.; two brothers, Lee Henry and his wife, Donna, of Rogers, Ark., and Dewain Henry and his wife, Judy, of Seligman; two sisters, Sheila Buczek-Booth and her husband, Tony, of Rogers, Ark., and Theresa Haynes and her husband, Joe, of Seligman; and three grandchildren.

He received his education at Washburn and Exeter schools. During the Vietnam War, he served in the U.S. Army from September 1966 until September 1969. Most of his life was spent as an over the road truck driver for R B Transport.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rick Hendrix conducted the services. Burial was at King Cemetery, Seligman.
