Chamber hosts annual contest

The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce encourages local community members to decorate their businesses and residences for the chamber's annual holiday lighting contest, which will be judged Dec. 3 through Dec. 10.

Businesses and homeowners interested in participating are asked to keep their lights on from dusk to 10 p.m. throughout the week.

Winners will receive a sign to display in their yard.

The first place winner in the commercial division will receive a traveling trophy to keep at their business for one year.

The top residential division winner will receive dinner for two at Geraldi's. The second place winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to the BBQ Station, and the third place winner will be awarded a $10 gift certificate to Presto Espresso.

Honorable mention will receive two hot chocolates from Presto Espresso.
