Helen Hale, 93, a resident of Berryville, Arkansas, was born Sept. 09, 1918, in Carroll County, AR. She departed this life for Heaven Wednesday Nov. 23, 2011.

She was the daughter of Elmer and Isabel (Jones) Wade, sister of Ruby Pharis, Joe Tommy Wade, and Bill Wade, all of whom preceded her in death.

In May of 1941, she was united in marriage to Carl Hale of Viola, Mo., whom also preceded her in death. Helen and Carl lived many years in Viola, Mo.

Survivors include: her niece, Janet and husband, Garry Shelton; great niece, Samantha, of Berryville, Ark.; nephew, Jack and wife Donna Pharis, of Oak Grove, Ark.; sisters-in-law Wanda Wade, of Heavener, Okla., and Virginia Elsea, of Independence, Mo.; and 18 additional nieces and nephews from several other states.

She was born again and baptized in 1950 and served her Lord and Savior the rest of her life.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ray Shelton officiating. Interment followed in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Service, Inc.
