Aaron Jamieson, the junior placekicker for the University of Central Missouri, has been named to the honorable mention All-MIAA football team. This is the second year in a row that Jamieson, a Cassville High School graduate, has been honored by the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. With his senior season still to come, Jamieson is now second all time at UCM in kick scoring and is the all-time leader in PATs made in a season and in a career. He has made 28 field goals in his career at UCM, including a school record 53-yard effort at Missouri Western this season. Jamieson finished the 2011 season with 65 points scored, converting seven of 12 field goal opportunities, and 44 of 46 PATs. He is the son of Terry and Jill Jamieson, of Cassville.

Congratulations to Aaron! If still alive, his great-grandpa Jamieson would have been his biggest fan and would have loved to have followed his career. To God be the Glory!
