Sponsors needed for holiday show

Tuesday, November 22, 2011

The Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce is still accepting sponsors for the 2011 Christmas Show. The two-night holiday production, which features HomeTown Sound and The RedHots, will be held at the Crowder College Cassville Campus Community Center on Dec. 9 and 10.

"Being a sponsor for the show is a great opportunity to tell customers thank you for their service and wish them a Merry Christmas," said Mindi Artherton, chamber executive director. "It may also help recruit new business.

"Along with other benefits, all of our sponsors will be put on a PowerPoint slide that looks like a Christmas card," said Artherton. "We will run the presentation before The Christmas Show, after The Christmas Show and during intermission."

Sponsorships range from $25 to $100. Businesses that serve as $50 sponsors will receive two complimentary tickets to the performance of their choice. Those that serve as $100 sponsors will receive four tickets and be recognized on the chamber website during the month of December.

Sponsorships will be accepted through Friday, Dec. 2.

"The Christmas Show is a fun holiday tradition that is unique to Cassville," said Artherton. "Along with both traditional and contemporary holiday music, show attendees will have a chance to visit with Santa Claus and enjoy concessions from Cassville High School Project Graduation and the pre-show by the CHS music department."

The Christmas Show will also offer performances by several talented artists from the local community.

Advanced tickets to the Christmas Show are available at the chamber office, Commerce Bank, Freedom Bank, First State Bank and Security Bank. Tickets are $6 each.

Table seating is also available. Tables, which seat six people, cost $90 or $15 per person.
