Auctioneer sets fundraising record

Wednesday, November 16, 2011

Stumpff's Realty and Auction Service, Inc., in Cassville, which is owned by Donnie and Teresa Stumpff, was chosen as the featured auctioneer for Ozarks Public Television's (OPT) children's television fundraiser, which was held at Touch restaurant in Springfield on Nov. 4. The event was co-chaired by Andy Kuntz, of Andy's Frozen Custard, Brad Feuerbacher, of Brown Derby, and Missouri State University. Donnie worked with radio personality Andy Taylor, who served as the master of ceremonies for the event. The fundraiser was the ninth auction for OPT children's television and Donnie's first opportunity to serve as the event auctioneer. This year's event set a new record in that it collected 113 percent of the fundraising goal. Last year, the event raised 51 percent of the fundraising goal.
