Monett woman injured in crash

A Monett woman received minor injuries in a head-on collision that occurred Sunday on County Road 1060 one mile west of Monett.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the wreck occurred at 9:40 a.m. when the driver of a 2010 Honda, Marilyn Bell, 57, of Monett, crossed the center line and struck a 1999 Honda, driven by Daniel J. McVay, 17, of Monett, head on.

Bell was taken to Cox Monett Hospital by private vehicle.
