Area residents will have the opportunity to dispose of old furniture, barbecue grills and small appliances during the City of Cassville's annual fall clean-up, which is scheduled to be conducted Nov. 7 through Nov. 11.
Allied Waste will collect items on regular routes at residents' curbs. Pick-ups will be made on regular trash collection days.
The following items will not be accepted at the curb: televisions; computers; tires; yard waste; dead animals; oil; raw sewage; hazardous materials; wet paint and varnish containers; flammable substances; pesticides; explosives; lead or acid batteries; medical waste; and chemicals.
Residents who have a large appliance that they would like picked up are asked to call the Cassville City Hall to be placed on a special collection list. Additional charges will apply for the disposal of some appliances.
