Area community members are invited to enjoy a delicious catered meal and a special performance by Cassville High School choir members on Friday, Oct. 28.

The second annual performance of "A Night To Remember" will be offered at the Crowder College Cassville Campus Community Center at 6 p.m. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

"This year's show will be in a much bigger and better facility where everybody will be able to be more comfortable and be better able to see," said Gail Shumaker. "They will also stay seated while the choir students wait on them for their drinks, food and dessert. Basically, no long buffet lines.

"Also, the show will start while they are eating, which will allow the show to not be too long," said Shumaker. "The show will consist of both competition show choirs performing their dress rehearsal for their first competition the next day in Webb City."

"A Night To Remember" will begin at 5:30 p.m. with pre-show entertainment by the CHS show choir band. The talented band members will perform while attendees are arriving and locating their tables.

The NBA (No Boys Allowed) all girls show choir will take the stage first, performing their show "A Touch Around the World." The evening will also offer "And the Geeks Shall Inherit the Earth," performed by the award-winning CHS Center Stage Show Choir.

The following soloists and small groups will also perform during the evening: Brittany Annecharico; Samye Borushaski; Austin Deffenbaugh; Jacob Keefer and Julie Shoemaker; Jessica Cabral; Bradley Leukenhoff; Carla Vail; Kasey Durm; Jordan Buss and Katie Sewell; Tyler Hill; Audra Shumaker; Hali Faber; Cassidy Larson; Adrianna Fine; Nicole McGuffey; Taylor Dodson; TJ Matthews; Gage Holloway; Garrett Marshall; and Bridges Madison.

"A Night To Remember" will be catered by Geraldi's. A brisket dinner will also be offered by John Sullivan, Cassville R-4 School Board president.

"The proceeds will go to the choir department to help pay for entry fees for competitions, costumes, choreography fees and musical arrangement costs," said Shumaker. "These kids are excited to show the community that they are willing to work very hard serving food and entertaining their hearts out to earn the support and admiration of our great Wildcat Nation."

Tickets for "A Night To Remember" are $12 each. Premium VIP table reservations are also available at Tomblin's Jewelry in Cassville. Tables seat up to six guests and cost $100.

This year's table sponsors include: Accents-N-Tents; Battery Outfitters; Cindy Carr; Commerce Bank; Dan Angel, Inc.; Designs By Debbie; Fastrip; Heritage Medical; Les Jacobs Ford-Mercury; Shumaker Tire; Sports World; Starchman Insurance; Tomblin's; Willis Insurance; White Funeral Home; and John Sullivan Catering.
