Alicia Ann Wade passed away Oct. 10, 2011, in Christian Health Care of Nixa. She was born June 27, 1929, in Cassville, Mo., to Vernon and Grace Chumbley.
Alicia left her hometown of Cassville in 1953 when she married R. Clell Wade. She spent most of her life in Quincy, Ill., where she raised her family. They retired back to Cassville in 1979, and lived there until 1990 when they moved to Springfield, Mo.
She enjoyed the Fine Arts her entire life with a natural talent of such. She was a pianist, a painter, and had a love of 'Fancy Work.' She was a true lover of nature, loved by people and was a member of The Kingsway United Methodist Church in Springfield. Preceding her in death was her husband of 58 years; one brother, Charles Chumbley, and her eldest son, Keith Wade.
She is survived by three of her children, Karan Hutton, Kelly Wade, Kim Wade, and her grandchildren, Chris Nickle and Stacy Watson.
Graveside services were held Friday, October 14, at 2 p.m. in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens under the direction of Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home with Don Beeson presiding.
