Event benefits education fund

Homecoming luncheon The Cassville Education Fund (CEF) hosted a homecoming luncheon and golf tournament at the Cassville Golf Course on Sept. 30. Proceeds from the event will benefit CEF, a permanent endowment for funding educational needs at the Cassville R-4 School District. Hungry Wildcats and area golfers celebrated Cassville's Homecoming at a luncheon and golf tournament held Friday, Sept. 30 at the Cassville Golf Club. Proceeds from the day's event benefitted the Cassville Education Fund, a permanent endowment for funding the educational needs at Cassville R-IV schools.

Winners of the two-person scramble in the championship flight were: first place, Bob Allen and Andy Lambel; and second place, Doug McCullah and Shannon Keeler. Winners in the A Flight were: first place, Eric White and Debbie Kelley; and second place, Mike Riehn and Mark Shumaker. Closest to pin winners were Pat O'Sullivan and Taylor Vanzandt.
