Helen Berry (Curran) Morgan, 88, of Cassville, formerly of Chillicothe, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at Red Rose Health Care and Rehabilitation, Cassville.

She was born Sept. 11, 1923, in Glosgow, Scotland, the daughter of George Curran, Sr., and Margaret Fleming Curran.

She was a veteran of the British Royal Air Force, and was a part of supply personnel.

On Aug. 22, 1945, she married Elston Walker Morgan in Glasgow, Scotland. They moved to the United States in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1982. Also preceding her in death were her parents.

She was a member of Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: a daughter, Sheena Comer and her husband, Rev. Randy Comer, of Seligman; a son, Ronald Morgan, of Richmond, Va.; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to World Hunger of the Southern Baptist Convention and mailed to Barry County Southern Baptist Association, 3004 Main Street, Cassville, MO 65625.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Marshfield City Cemetery, Marshfield, under direction of Heritage Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
