Exeter Council adopts tax rate

The Exeter City Council adopted the tax rate for 2011 at its regularly scheduled meeting on Aug. 9. The tax levy was set at $0.4484.

In other business, the aldermen approved the bank reconciliations, voted to pay the July bills as presented and reviewed the bank balances.
