Olive "Marie" Rogers, 84, of Shell Knob, passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, in her home.

She was born June 20, 1927, in Clayton, Ohio, the daughter of Frank Lewis and Tacy Ann (Miller) Bialkowski. On Jan. 25, 1944, in Orange County, Calif., she was united in marriage to Robert Wesley Rogers, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, Robert Dennis "Bob" Rogers, of Sun Valley, Calif.; one daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Davison and her husband, Eddie, of Shell Knob; one sister, Geraldine Herrington and her husband, Harold, of California; four grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; five brothers; three sisters; and two grandsons

"Ollie" or "Marie" as family or friends knew her, grew up and received her education in Highland Park, Calif. She was a homemaker. In 1976, she moved from Burbank, Calif., to Shell Knob to make her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Brother David Donaldson will conduct the services. Burial will be in Lake Park Memorial Gardens, Shell Knob.

There will be no visitation.
