Ag event offers hands-on activity

On Sept. 8, Cassville High School students had the opportunity learn about the digestive system of cattle using a fistulated cow at the Southwest Research Center in Mt. Vernon. The center uses the cow to research the efficiency of different types of feeds. Students visited the center for the University of Missouri's Field Day. Pictured above, is Daryl Rose.
