A single-vehicle crash on Monday sent a Golden woman to the hospital.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the driver of a 1994 Honda Accord, Stephanie A. Busse, 21, of Golden, failed to negotiate a curve, skidded across the center line, traveled off the roadway and overturned. The wreck occurred at 6:29 p.m. on County Road E two miles northeast of Eagle Rock.
Busse was taken by ambulance to St. John's Hospital-Cassville with minor injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.
* A Cassville youth was injured at 2:55 p.m. on Monday when the motorcycle he was riding overturned. Joseph T. Haney, 16, of Cassville, was slowing for traffic and excessive braking caused the motorcycle to overturn. Haney was taken by ambulance to St. John's Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.
* A two-vehicle wreck on Sept. 7 left two Barry County residents injured. The crash occurred at 5:30 p.m. at the junction of Highway 39 and YY in Shell Knob when the driver of a 2009 Chevrolet, Kellie A. Doyle, 16, of Shell Knob, was stopped in traffic to make a left and was struck from behind by a 2004 Ford van, driven by Karl P. Mitchler, 41, of Shell Knob. Both drivers were taken by private vehicle to St. John's Hospital-Cassville with minor injuries. Both were wearing their seat belts.
* A single-vehicle crash sent a Washburn man to the hospital on Sept. 8. The wreck occurred at 8:30 p.m. on County Road 2130, a half mile east of Butterfield when the driver of a 1997 Ford Escort, Douglas W. Brattin, 46, ran off the road and struck a tree. A passenger in the vehicle, Daniel D. Gaches, 40, of Washburn, was taken to Cox Monett Hospital with minor injuries. Neither were wearing a seat belt.
* A single-vehicle crash sent a Cassville woman to a Springfield hospital on Sunday. The crash occurred at 7:38 p.m. on Highway 76 two miles east of Wheaton when the driver of a 1997 GMC Yukon, Tessa L. Craig, 20, of Cassville, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck an embankment. Craig was transported by ambulance to St. John's Hospital in Springfield with minor injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.
