SADD officers attend conference

Democrat Photo/Lindsay Reed On Aug. 4, Cassville High School SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) officers attended the Prevention Leadership Conference held by the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (NCADA) in St. Louis. The conference offered addresses by motivational speaker Aric Bostick and burn survivor John O'Leary. Tom Guy, the founder and president of "The Media Guy" also gave a presentation on new programs. Students attended mini breakout sessions and networked with other members during the event. SADD advisor Elaine Boles and Cassville DARE (Drug and Alcohol Resistance Education) officer Jennifer Luckey accompanied the students on the trip.
