In the Lamar game, Cassville got on the scoreboard first, leading 1-0 after the third inning. The Lady Tigers tied the game up at 1-1 in the fifth and then ripped the game wide open in the final two frames, plating six runs and earning the Big 8 win.
Emily Speakman and Taylor Wolf shared pitching duties for Cassville. The Lady Wildcats were limited to three hits in the contest.
Errors proved costly for Cassville in the game with Monett. The Lady Wildcats had four errors in the contest and managed only four hits.
Raeghan Blisard, Cari Vollenweider, Jaime Everett and Kelsey Vollenweider all put the ball in play for Cassville.
The Lady Wildcats look to get back in the win column when they travel to East Newton for another Big 8 contest on Thursday.
