Josephine Mary Heintz, 92, of Golden, passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at the St. John's Hospital in Berryville, Ark. She was born on Oct. 18, 1918, in Depew, Okla., daughter of Dan and Francis (Irwin) Capshaw. In 1938 she and her family moved to Fresno, Calif., where she met Gottlieb Heintz. They were united in marriage on Jan. 31, 1939, in Fresno, Calif. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1976. In 2006, she moved to Golden. She attended the All Faith United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock.
Survivors include: two sons, Jerry Heintz, of Yuma, Ariz., and Steven Heintz, and his wife, Morrisa, also of Yuma; one daughter, Joan Seratt, and her husband, Jim, of Golden; and 11 grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson.
Memorial services will be held on Friday at the All Faith United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Karen Tutak officiating. Memorials may be made to the National Autism Association, 20 Alice Agnew Drive, Attleboro Falls, MA 02763-1036, and may be entrusted to the White Funeral Home.
