Shell Knob School playground improved

Shell Knob School students are enjoying a newly expanded playground this year. After summer school concluded in June, crews began a playground improvement project that replaced a tornado slide with a brand new slide decorated in Shell Knob School colors. The playground's tiled surface, which offers a soft, springy surface to cushion falls, was extended to provide more room for the playground's other equipment. Students celebrated the completion of the project with ice cream sandwiches on Aug. 25.
