Cassville woman injured in crash east of Billings

A two-vehicle crash on Friday on Highway 60 east of the Billings city limits left three people injured.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 1 p.m. when the driver of a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier, Ashley N. Blades, 18, of Billings, failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Laci D. Naugle, 24, of Cassville.

Naugle and a passenger in her vehicle, Lilly Naugle, 1, were transported by private vehicle to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with minor injuries. Blades was transported by ambulance to Cox Hospital South in Springfield with minor injuries. All parties involved in the wreck were wearing seat belts.

Other wrecks

* A Purdy man was injured when he wrecked his moped on Farm Road 2040 five miles south of Monett. The crash occurred at 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday when the driver of a 2008 Taizhou Chuani moped, Eugene E, Daugherity, 47, of Purdy, overturned in the roadway and ran into the ditch. Daugherity was taken to Cox Monett Hospital with moderate injuries.
