Chandra Stephens, 21, of Cassville, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. She was born on April 4, 1990, in Parsons, Kan., the daughter of Rosemary (Stephens) and Steven Campbell. In 1990, she moved from Walnut, Kan., to the Cassville area. She was a graduate of the class of 2008 at Blue Eye High School.
Survivors include: her fiancÚ, Roy Durossette, of Cassville; two daughters, Samarah Rose Stephens and Chandra Lillith Renne Stephens, both of the home; her mother and stepfather, Rosemary Campbell and her husband, Steve; three brothers Anthony and Rusty Campbell, both of the home, and John Ferguson, of Granby; one sister, Holly Campbell, of Nashville, Ark.; and grandparents, Linda and Roger Hamilton, of Shell Knob.
Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. (noon) on Saturday at the CCC Camp in Shell Knob. An educational fund has been set up for her children at Federal Credit Union in Shell Knob.
