Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday on Highway 60 one mile east of Monett.
The crash occurred at 9:05 a.m. when the driver of a 1993 Pontiac Grand Prix, Marc S. Delong, 40, of Marionville, stopped to make a left turn and was hit from behind by a 2002 Mercury Sable, driven by Sera K. Poyraz, 22, of Pierce City.
Delong suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Cox Monett Hospital. Three passengers in the Poyraz vehicle, Christian Frias, 25, of Aurora, Jonathan Frias Torres, 23, of Aurora, and Juan P. Frias Torres, 20, of Aurora, also received moderate injuries and were taken to Cox Monett Hospital. All of the parties involved were wearing seat belts.
