Bruce K. Lebsack, 58, of Wheaton, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011, in his home.
He was born May 16, 1953, in Duluth, Minn., the son of Kenneth B. and Dixie J. (Summer) Lebsack, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include: his children, Jennifer Pinillos and her husband, Otto, of Godfrey, Ill., Jonathan Lebsack, of Oklahoma, and Sarah Lebsack; his sister, Suzanne Bastin and her husband, John, of Olathe, Kan.; and two granddaughters.
At the age of 17, during the Vietnam War, he joined the U.S. Marine Corp, serving from July 4, 1970, until May 23, 1974. He then received his bachelor's degree from CMSU at Warrensburg. During his lifetime, he has been a commercial pilot for Springdale Air Service and Baron Aviation and a truck driver for Don Lemming Trucking. He also was a pastor for Chapel Restoration Church and owned and operated a radio electronic shop in Wheaton.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Rev. James Weaver will conduct the services. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ark.
