Sibyl Mae England, 90, of Exeter, passed away Monday, July 18, 2011, in her home.

She was born Nov. 12, 1920, in Purdy, the daughter of Wesley Ommer and Nellie (Mutrux) Reed. On July 19, 1941, in Exeter, she was united in marriage to Lamoine England, who preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2006. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son in infancy, Dennis Ray England; four brothers; one sister; and a great grandson.

Survivors include: one son, Danny England, of Exeter; two sisters, Lorraine "Tudy" Howard, of Tulsa, Okla., and Bobbie McTear Ammerman, of Kansas City; four grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She began her education at the Clark Rural School in Barry County and graduated from Wheaton High School. She was last of the surviving students of her class. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband in the harvest field and their tractor implement business in Wheaton. She had also been employed for social services in Cassville for a while. She was a charter member of Wheaton Southern Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Wheaton Southern Baptist Church, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Pastor Richard Buck, Pastor Paul Wahlert and Brother Steve Higgs conducted the services. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
