Chamber hosts successful tourney

Winners of the chamber golf tourney The Cassville Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual golf tournament on July 8 at the Cassville Golf Course. A total of 19 teams participated, and the tournament was supported by 18 different sponsors. Winner of the championship flight was The CPA Group team of Kendall Haynes, Shannon Keller, Doug McCullah and Matt McCullah, pictured above.

The first place winners in the championship flight were Doug McCullah, Matt McCullah, Kendall Haynes and Shannon Keller, sponsored by The CPA Group. Other top finishers in the championship flight were: Greg Davis, Trent Anderson, Jerry DeMeyer and Tom Prince, second place; and Ashley Garner, Casey Crass, John Chappell and Chuck Edie, sponsored by Brattin's Tree Service, third place.

Top finishers in the A Flight were: Taylor Vanzant, Danny Vanzant, Angela Pilant and Leslie Smith, sponsored by All Points Recycling, first place; Dave Graham, Marty Hall, Butch Watson and Denver Douglas, second place; and Becky Ryder, Janie Watson, Leta Higgs and Penny Hall, sponsored by Able 2 Products, third place.

Special awards were presented to: Suzanne Stringer, longest drive on hole 3; Matt McCullah, longest drive on hole 2; Shannon Keller, closest to the pin on hole 11; and Bobby Corn, closest to the pin on hole 6.
