David Bradford Sr., 59, of Bentonville, Ark., formerly of Seligman, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011, at the Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, Ark.
He was born on July 24, 1951, in Kansas City, son of Lois Bradford. He moved to the Seligman area early in his life. He graduated from Southwest high school in 1969 as valedictorian of the class. Shortly after high school, he was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served his country honorably in Vietnam. After he was discharged, he returned to Seligman where he worked until his retirement as a carpenter, building houses in the northwest Arkansas area.
Survivors include: one son, David Bradford Jr., and his wife, Stephanie, of Bentonville, Ark.; one daughter, Angela Gautney, and her husband, Chuck, of Seligman; one brother, Scott Moore, of Washburn; and five grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one son, Charles David Bradford.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the White Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial will follow at the New Salem Cemetery in Seligman with military honors. Memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice and may be entrusted to the White Funeral Home.
