Fair fun

Tuesday, June 28, 2011
The Barry County Fair, which was held at Gizmo's Event Center in Wheaton on June 23, 24 and 25, attracted hundreds of local youth. The show offered nine different livestock events and featured over 300 entries. Cassville's Carmen Wolf, age 9, pictured above, had success at the fair showing her hog. Carmen's younger brother, Carson Wolf, 7, is also pictured. He also had an entry in the hog show. Keanu Stewart, of Exeter, pictured below, competed in the beef senior showmanship event on Saturday. Results from the 2011 fair were not available at presstime and will be published in an upcoming issue of the Cassville Democrat.
