American Legion Post #118 will host the Kenny Robbins Truck and Tractor Pull at the American Legion Grounds on Highway 112 in Cassville on Saturday, July 2. The pull will begin at 7 p.m.
Attendees should bring their lawn chairs. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed at the event. Concessions will be provided by Barry County Search and Rescue.
The truck and tractor pull sled will be provided by Spring River Pulling Association. Danny Frossard will serve as announcer for the event.
Competitors who are members of the Spring River Pulling Association will be able to participate in the event for $15. Other competitors will be charged a $20 entry fee.
The event will offer 23 pulling classes. Prize money will be awarded to the first, second and third place competitors in each class. Tractors and pickups can only be entered in two classes.
The event will offer the following: five stock tractors classes; a showroom stock pickup class; a four-wheel drive pickup class; a super farm tractor class; two two-wheel drive pickup classes; a street stock pickup class; a modified tractor class; two diesel pickup classes; a pro street pickup class; a pro stock and super stock tractor class; a hot farm tractor class; a division II pickup class; two open tractor classes; an open pickup class; and a pickup class.
The pulling competition will also offer a combined class, which will feature pro stock, pro field and super farm tractors.
Admission costs for the truck and tractor pull will be $10 per person. Children who are under the age of 12 will be admitted at no cost.

American Legion Post #118 will also host a truck and tractor pull at the Legion grounds on Sunday, Sept. 25. The pull is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
