Players named All-State

Wildcat earns All-State honor Chuck Nickle Photography Cassville's Ricky Nichols garnered first team All-State honors as an infielder for the Wildcats. He was named to the Class 3 All-State team by the state's coaches.
The Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association has released the All-State teams for the 2011 season.

The Purdy Eagles landed three players on the Class 2 All-State team, and two Exeter Tigers made the list in Class 1. Cassville had one player named to the Class 3 squad.

The Wildcats Ricky Nichols was selected as a first team All-State infielder. Monett's Jake Smith also made the All-State list with honorable mention recognition as catcher.

In Class 2, Purdy's Reese Stevenson was selected as a first team All-State infielder, and Riley Veith was selected as a first team designated hitter/utility player. Pitcher Kevin Miller received honorable mention.

In Class 1, Exeter's Cody Stringer was recognized as a second team All-State outfielder, and Tyler White received honorable mention as a designated hitter/utility player.
