Kenneth Donoho, 92, of Cassville, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Cassville Health & Rehab in Cassville. He was born on March 19, 1919, in Sullivan County near the town of Humphreys, the son of George and Grace (Smith) Donoho. He attended school in Humphreys and was valedictorian of the class of 1936.
In January of 1941, he enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps, where he served in the European Theatre of World War II for two years. After being honorably discharged, he moved to California, where he was employed with Douglas Aircraft for several years. In 1970, he moved to Cassville and worked for the U.S. Forest Service, Mark Twain National Forest in Cassville, retiring after 20 years of service.
Funeral services were held Monday at the White Funeral Home in Cassville. Graveside services with military honors were conducted at the Humphreys Cemetery on Tuesday in Humphreys.
