Museum to expand CCC collection

Photo by Amber Wilson The Barry County Museum's Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) exhibit has drawn so much attention that museum officials have decided to make the collection a permanent display at the facility. Photos from Shell Knob and Roaring River State Park projects are both featured in the display. Individuals who have photos, items or stories that they would like included in the collection are encouraged to call the museum at 847-1640. The Barry County Museum is located on Highway 112 south of Cassville. Facility hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.
