JACK CLIFFORD ROULSTON-WILCOXEN
Jack Clifford Roulston-Wilcoxen, 68, of Nevada, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011, in Missouri Rehabilitation Center, Mt. Vernon.
He was born Jan. 25, 1943, in El Dorado, Kan., the son of Mary (Hedrick) Roulston Etter, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include: one son, Darin Roulston and his wife, Bonnie, of Highland Village, Texas; two daughters, Robin Smith and her husband, Randy, of Wichita, Kan., and Kimberly Schusler, also of Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Donna McJimsey and her husband, Mike, of Shell Knob; a brother, David Roulston and his wife, Loetta, of Wichita, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He grew up in Kansas and was a graduate of North High School in Wichita, Kan. From March 9, 1960 to June 9, 1960, he served in the United States Navy, where he received an honorable medical discharge. Over 30 years, he owned and operated Southwind Trucking in Nevada. He referred to himself as the "last of the outlaw truckers" and his CB handle was "Easy Pickens."
Memorial graveside services with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Lawn Cemetery, El Dorado, Kan.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob, Missouri.
