Special Election

Barry County Clerk Gary Youngblood has announced a special election for Central Crossing Fire Protection District's additional tax levy to take place June 7.

Absentee voting will continue from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. through Monday, June 6 at the Barry County Clerk's Office in Cassville, located at 700 Main St. Suite 2.

Those unable to cast absentee votes may request an absentee ballot through the mail. A written request for the ballot must include the voter's name, physical address, mailing address, date of birth, last four digits of their Social Security number, a phone number, the reason that they are voting absentee and a signature.

The last day to request a mailed ballot for this special election is Wednesday, June 1.
