Cassville resident seriously injured in crash on Highway 37

A Cassville resident sustained serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 37 one mile north of Cassville on May 3.

The wreck occurred when the driver of a 2002 Dodge, Juan S. Ibarra, 39, of Cassville, crossed the center line and struck a 2006 Ford F250, driven by Larry D. Henbest, 64, of Cassville, head on.

Ibarra was taken to St. John's Hospital-Cassville with serious injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.

Other crashes

* A Golden man was injured in a motorcycle wreck that took place at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday, May 7 on Farm Road 2278 a half mile east of Golden. The wreck took place when the operator of a 2009 Harley Davidson, George L. Boehm, 42, left the roadway and overturned. Boehm was taken to Cos Hospital South in Springfield with moderate injuries.

* A Galena man was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 1:50 p.m. in Highway HH two miles south of Purdy. The wreck occurred when the driver of a 1993 International, Larry J. Tolbert, 56, went off the right side of the roadway to avoid an approaching vehicle and the semi truck started to slide and overturned. Tolbert was taken to St. John's Hospital-Cassville with minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.

* A two-vehicle wreck on Thursday resulted in minor injuries to a Purdy woman. The wreck occurred at 4:35 p.m. on May 5 on Farm Road 1090 three miles north of Purdy when the driver of a 2001 Cadillac Deville, Roy A. Cash, 63, of Purdy, slowed for another wreck and was struck from behind by a 1997 Ford F150, driven by Christina J. Ingle, 27, also of Purdy. An occupant in the Cash vehicle, Claudia J. Cash, 62, was taken by ambulance to Cox Monett Hospital with minor injuries. All those involved were wearing seat belts.
