Anna Delores Birkenholz, 80, of Golden, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Brighton Ridge in Eureka Springs, Ark. She was born on March 10, 1931, in Maryville, to Otto Bleich and Lavisa (Coleman) Bleich.
She graduated from Maryville High School in 1952, she was united in marriage to William James Birkenholz. He preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1993. She worked for the National Association of Broadcasters in Washington, D.C., for 26 years. She was a member of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include: two brothers, William R. Bleich, of Wichita, Kan., Jack E. Bleich, of Golden. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, and one brother.
Services were held at the Christian Church in Eureka Springs, Ark., on Tuesday. Burial was at the Meriam Cemetery, Maryville.
