Cassville man injured in crash

A Cassville man was injured in a single-vehicle wreck that occurred at 7:30 a.m. on Monday on Highway 248 four miles east of Cassville.

Dale K. Newby, 57, received minor injuries when the 1998 Mercury Mountaineer he was driving slid off the roadway and struck a fence. Newby was transported by private vehicle to St. John's Hospital-Cassville. Newby was wearing a seat belt.
