Thursday, April 28, 2011

A two-person scramble golf tournament to benefit Cassville High School Class of 2011's Project Graduation celebration will be held this Saturday, April 30 at the Cassville Golf Course.

According to tournament organizers, registration will continue through the day of the tournament. Tee-off times will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon.

The cost to participate in the tournament is $25 for golf club members and $40 for non-members. The fee includes 18 holes of golf, a riding cart, lunch and the chance to win a variety of prizes. Les Jacobs Ford-Mercury is offering a new car for a hole in one.

"We hope all area residents will consider playing in our tournament this Saturday," said John Lueckenhoff, one of the tournament organizers. "It will be a great day of golf for a really great cause."

For more information or to set up a tee time, call the Cassville Golf Club at 847-2399.
