Eston Russell Harrison, 82, of Wheaton, passed away Monday, April 4, 2011, in Freeman Neosho Hospital, Neosho.
He was born July 1, 1928, at home in rural Exeter, the son of Clarence and Affie (May) Harrison. On July 11, 1946, he was united in marriage to Nadine Ridenour.
Survivors include: his two daughters, Jan England and her husband, Allen, of Wheaton, and Peggy Utter and her husband, Bill, of Purdy; a sister, Lucile Wills, of Newton, Kan.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Lawrence Harrison.
He grew up in the Exeter area and received his education at the Union Valley Rural School. He later moved to Kansas City and was employed at Vendo Vending Machine Company around 10 years. In 1990, he moved back to Wheaton to make his home. He was a Christian.
Graveside services were held Friday at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Pastor Aaron Weibel and Pastor George Gore conducted the services.
