The Shell Knob Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 24th annual Shell Knob Home and Business Show on April 8 and 9. The event will be held at the Shell Knob School from 5 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

"The Shell Knob Home and Business Show is an event designed for homeowners and renters in all stages of remodeling, landscaping and decorating," said Sheila House, chamber executive director. "But, the exhibits do not end with home improvements."

Nearly 70 exhibitors will offer merchandise, product demonstrations and samples during the show.

"With a combination of new products and expert advice from the pros, the show has something for everyone," said House. "Many fine home products and services will be represented at the show. Come with ideas, photos and an open mind. You'll leave with inspiration."

Exhibits will feature furniture, appliances, pet care, jewelry, household supplies, sunrooms, healthcare services, lawn care products, banking services, boat lifts, docks, senior services, boating and lake safety, windows, siding, landscaping and plants.

On Saturday, the Stone County Health Department will offer free drinking water tests. Interested individuals should bring a four- to six-ounce water sample in a clean container to the show.

"Door prizes will be given away regularly including Flowers on the Hours, a beautiful arrangement of flowers every hour of the show," said House. "Some exhibitors will have their own drawings and giveaways."

The Shell Knob Chamber will also kick off the sixth annual Shopping in the Shell fundraiser at the show. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree.

Admission to the Shell Knob Home and Business Show is free. Concessions will be offered by the Shell Knob Senior Center Corporation. Breakfast will be available at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.
