Margreat Virginia Davidson, 79, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, in her home.

She was born May 17, 1931, in Mt. Sherman, Ark., (Newton County) the daughter of Orin and Pearl (Henderson) Kilgore. On March 11, 1951, in Compton, Ark., she was united in marriage to Herbert Leroy Davidson who preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 2005. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a half-sister.

Survivors include: two sons, Sonny Davidson and his wife, Tracy, of Exeter, and Verl Davidson and his wife, Lisa, of Compton, Ark.; three daughters, Pat Henley and her husband, Mike, of Green Forest, Ark., Donna Plumlee and her husband, Harold, of Green Forest, Ark., and Sissy Still and her husband, Gary, of Rocky Comfort; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She grew up and received her education in Arkansas, while living with Jim and Addie Henderson, who raised her. After she and Herbert were married, the couple made Compton, Ark., their home. She was a homemaker who worked side by side with her husband on the farm raising cattle and in the logging and timber business. In 1989, they moved to Missouri and continued farming.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday in Crossroads Church, Compton, Ark., under the direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Pastor Craig Villines and Brother Donnie Villines will conduct the services. Burial will be at Crossroads Cemetery, Compton, Ark.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today (Wednesday) in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton, and from 12 (noon) until service time Thursday in Crossroads Church, Compton, Ark.
