Pauline Arnold, 72, of Washburn, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield.
She was born April 18, 1938, in Pratt, Kan., the daughter of Oscar and Eunice M. (Lantis) Wilson. On June 23, 1955, in Bentonville, Ark., she was united in marriage to Odis Arnold, who preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 1982. Also preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors include: three sons, Dewayne Arnold and his wife, Tammy, Dale Arnold, Darrell Arnold and his wife, Roxanne, all of Washburn; one daughter, DeeAnn Darity and her husband, Gary, of Exeter; three sisters, Dorothy Carver, of Seattle, Wash., Helen Griffin, of Lawson, and Jean Gaydou and her husband, Gary, of Monett; a brother-in-law, J.C. Arnold and his wife, Neva, of Washburn; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She received her education at Exeter. For several years she was employed as a machine operator at Fasco. Later she worked at Walmart. She was a member of Washburn First Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Monday in Washburn First Baptist Church under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Glen Erwin conducted the services. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
