Hazel Flossie Holcomb, 90, of Exeter, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born Jan. 22, 1920, in Barry County, the daughter of George and Sarah (Baughman) Hooten. On Dec. 18, 1944, she was united in marriage to Willis Morgan, who preceded her in death. On June 27, 1975, she married Roscoe Holcomb, who also preceded her in death. Others preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Deb, Burl, Paul and Curt Hooten; and five sisters, Velma Robyler, Marie Hooten, Bethella Hooten, Grace Lauderdale and Nellie Erwin.

Survivors include: two sisters, Esther Perkins, of Exeter, and Mary Black, of Ozark.

She received her education at Independence School and was a lifelong resident of Barry County. She was baptized in January 1972 and was a member of Washburn Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Ken West will conduct the services.

There will be no visitation.
