Emma Jean Patton, 81, of Monett, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, in Benchmark Health Care, Monett.
She was born June 28, 1929, in Seligman, the daughter of Charley and Nancy (Barnes) Adams. She was united in marriage to Ralph Edwin Wormington, who preceded her in death in 1968. Later she married Orbie Patton, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sons, Glen Wormington, of Monett; Ralph Wormington and his wife, JoAnn, of Seymour, Gene Wormington, and Jack Wormington and his wife, Dawn, of Anderson; three daughters, Clara Mae Burley and her husband, John, of Fayetteville, Ark., Nancy Rancatore and her husband Greg, of LaPorte, Ind., and Carol Jean Norris and her husband, Mickey, of Independence; one brother, Billy Adams, of Wichita, Kan.; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
She grew up in Barry County and graduated from Cassville High School. She was a life-long resident of this area and was a homemaker. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Monett.
Funeral services were held Friday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Larry Wormington conducted the services. Burial was at Horner Cemetery, Cassville.
